
Sarah Ferguson, Ph.D.
is currently a professor of mathematics at the University of Cincinnati. Sarah has 18 years of experience teaching all levels of mathematics in both online and face-to-face in high school and higher education. Additionally, Sarah has extensive experience teaching mathematics education courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Sarah’s research interest is improving the learning and teaching experience of mathematics, with a particular focus on helping pre-service and inservice mathematics educators explore student-centered teaching strategies.

Denise Polojac-Chenoweth, Ph.D.
is currently a grade 9–12 mathematics district instructional and curricular coach with Hillsborough County Public Schools in Tampa, Florida. She also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Mathematics Education at St. Petersburg College and the University of South Florida. Denise has 17 years’ experience teaching mathematics at all levels including middle school, high school, and higher education. Denise’s research focus in mathematics teaching and learning strategies with an emphasis on instructional strategies that support struggling learners in grades 9-12.
